I prossimi iPhone avranno una fotocamera meno sporgente?

Nell’ultimo paio di brevetti per fotocamere concessi ad Apple, l’azienda prevede di migliorare ulteriormente la qualità delle immagini dei futuri iPhone.

Entrambi i brevetti portano il nome di “Sistema di lenti piegate” con tre o cinque “lenti di rifrazione“. Questi brevetti mostrano obiettivi che si riflettono attraverso un prisma, quindi non devono essere posizionati direttamente dal retro del telefono.

Posizionando gli obiettivi in questo modo, Apple potrebbe allungare la distanza tra il sensore e gli obiettivi, riducendo al contempo le dimensioni del bump della fotocamera necessario per supportare tutto l’hardware, incluso uno stabilizzatore ottico d’immagine e gli autofocus.

Entrambi i brevetti differiscono quando si tratta del numero di obiettivi utilizzati, con uno che opta per tre mentre l’altro ne utilizza cinque. Ciascuno degli elementi usa elementi concavi e convessi per manipolare la luce, ma offrono due scopi diversi.

La configurazione a tre elementi potrebbe offrire una lunghezza focale compresa tra 80 e 200 mm (equivalente a 35 mm) e un campo visivo compreso tra 18 e 28 gradi, il che lo rende ideale per una teleobiettivo. Nel frattempo, la configurazione a cinque elementi può essere utilizzata come telecamera “ampia” standard con una vista focale tra 28 e 41 gradi con una lunghezza focale equivalente di 35 mm da 50 mm a 85 mm.
