iPhone 11 in India conquista il 68% del mercato degli smartphone “ultra premium”

Le nuove statistiche condivise da IDC, mostrano che Apple ha rappresentato il 62,7% del segmento degli smartphone da più di 500 dollari nel primo trimestre 2020, superando i concorrenti Samsung e OnePlus.

Inoltre, iPhone 11 ha ottenuto una quota del 68% delle spedizioni nel segmento da 700 ad oltre 1000 dollari nel corso dei tre mesi.

Complessivamente, il mercato degli smartphone in India è cresciuto dell’1,5% su base annua con 32,5 milioni di unità spedite. Xiaomi, vivo, Samsung, realme e Oppo sono stati i primi cinque fornitori del trimestre, rispettivamente.

I dati sono in linea con quelli pubblicati da Counterpoint Research ad aprile. All’epoca, la società aveva stimato una crescita del 4% su base annua in India per il primo trimestre e ha anche registrato forti vendite di iPhone 11 grazie agli sconti di Flipkart, Amazon e altri rivenditori.
