Consumer Report mette fine al BendGate di iPhone 6: i dispositivi non si piegano [Video]

Consumer Reports, l’associazione statunitense dei consumatori, ha ritenuto che fosse il caso di intervenire sulla questione Bendgate. In seguito ad alcuni test effettuati sui dispositivi, l’ente afferma che i nuovi smartphone Apple sono resistenti quanto i loro competitor se non di più.

Consumer Report è una delle associazioni dei consumatori più stimate negli Stati Uniti. I test di laboratorio che hanno eseguito al fine di verificare se effettivamente il problema bendgate fosse serio o meno hanno rivelato che la questione dovrebbe affliggere di più i device di altri produttori più che quelli Apple che risultano addirittura essere più resistenti al test della piegatura.

Il test eseguito prevede la pressione in tre punti: il device viene mantenuto dalle due estremità e viene effettuata una pressione al centro.

Così come su iPhon 6, il test è stato eseguito su HTC One (m8), Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG G3 e iPhone 5.

La prima pressione applicata corrisponde a 4.5 Kg e perdura per 30 secondi. Una volta superata questa prima fase, il device viene sottoposto ad una pressione che aumenta di volta in volta di 4.5 kg fino alla sua deformazione e alla fuoriuscita del display dal case.

Comnsumer report tiene inoltre a sottolineare che dopo la separazione del case e dello schermo HTC One e iPhone 6 funzionavano ancora, diversamente da Galaxy Note 3
