Un bug di iOS 11 permette la lettura dei messaggi tramite Siri

Recentemente è stato segnalato un nuovo bug di iOS 11 dal sito brasiliano Mac Magazine. Grazie ad esso è possibile utilizzare Siri per leggere i messaggi dell’utente, senza sbloccare l’iPhone.

Apple con iOS 11 ha dato la possibilità di nascondere le notifiche dei messaggi nella lockscreen quando l’iPhone risulta essere bloccato. Più precisamente è possibile vedere chi ha inviato il messaggio, ma non il suo contenuto. Questa impostazione risulta essere attiva di default solamente su iPhone X, dove basterà un’occhiata al Face ID per rivelare le informazioni nascoste.

Mac Magazine ha scoperto che l’assistente vocale Siri è in grado di leggere i contenuti dei messaggi ricevuti, anche quando vengono nascosti dalla funzionalità spiegata prima. L’unica eccezione di questo bug sembra essere l’applicazione nativa Messaggi. Per gli altri servizi come WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype, Siri rivelerà il contenuto del messaggio anche con lo smartphone bloccato.

Stando a quanto riportato dalla fonte, il bug sembra essere presente su iOS 11.2.6 e sulla beta di iOS 11.3. Questo errore è già stato segnalato da Apple, che probabilmente lo risolverà prima del rilascio ufficiale di iOS 11.3.
