iOS 18: Nell’app Telefono arriva la composizione in T9 dei numeri di telefono in rubrica

Gli utenti Android che sono passati ad iPhone hanno da tempo richiesto a gran voce l’aggiunta della composizione T9 nell’app Telefono. Si tratta di un metodo rapido per trovare i contatti in rubrica digitando le prime lettere del nome sul tastierino numerico.

Ad esempio, per chiamare “Fabiano” basterà digitare “3224266”. Si tratta di un metodo di scrittura che ricorderanno bene tutte le persone della mia generazione che sono passate dai vecchi Nokia, normali telefoni cellulari, consumando decine di “Summer Card” per inviare centinaia di SMS ai propri amici.

Sostanzialmente basta premere una sola volta il tasto numerico che contiene la lettera che desideriamo, ed il t9 è in grado di capire automaticamente quale parola o nome intendiamo scrivere. Digitando 3224266, iOS 18 riesce a capire “Fabiano” e ci mostra il contatto registrato in rubrica permettendoci di avviare la chiamata molto più velocemente.

Oltre alla composizione T9, l’app Telefono di iOS 18 introduce altre interessanti funzionalità, come la registrazione integrata delle chiamate con trascrizione automatica ed una cronologia delle chiamate migliorata con possibilità di ricerca avanzata.

iOS 18 sarà disponibile come aggiornamento software gratuito per iPhone a partire dal prossimo autunno.
