Nintendo: “L’iPad non ci fa paura, non è nulla di speciale”

Il New York Times ha intervistato Satoru Iwata, presidente di Nintendo, chiedendo impressioni sull’iPad che Apple ha presentato lo scorso mercoledi. Iwata ha dichiarato di non essere affatto impressionato poichè il dispositivo è molto “semplice”.

Precisamente le dichiarazioni sono state le seguenti:

“E’ solo un iPod Touch più grande, niente di speciale. Sicuramente non c’è stato il solito -effetto sorpresa-”

Queste dichiarazioni saranno sicuramente condivise da qualcuno di voi ma al tempo stesso appaiono in netta contrapposizione con quanto affermato precedentemente dall’azienda, che aveva esplicitamente ammesso di temere Apple ed il suo iPod Touch a causa della sua particolare predisposizione ai giochi.

Un iPod Touch gigande, a questo punto, dovrebbe destare molta più preoccupazione nella società che invece continua a denigra l’iPad a tutti i costi. Probabilmente le reali motivazioni consistono nel fatto che anche Nintendo ha rilasciato una nuova versione del DSi (LL) dotato di uno schermo più grande e quindi cerca di frenare l’entusiasmo per non incorrere in un calo di vendite anche su questo nuovo dispositivo. Stando ai video dimostrativi fin ora pervenuti, i giochi sull’iPad sono davvero spettacolari.. ne vedremo delle belle!
