Apple rinnova il marchio “Mammoth”, sarà questo il nome di macOS 13?

Recentemente ad Apple è stata concessa un’estensione del marchio per il nome “Mammoth” nella categoria dei sistemi operativi per computer, suggerendo che questo potrebbe essere il nome di macOS 13.

Secondo i documenti depositati, l’estensione del marchio è stata approvata il 16 novembre. Il marchio “Mammoth” di Apple è di proprietà della società Yosemite Research LLC.

Yosemite Research LLC ha precedentemente raccolto e detenuto i marchi Apple per macOS, incluso il nome “Yosemite” utilizzato per macOS 10.10. La società di comodo tende a trasferire il marchio ad Apple una volta che la società annuncia ufficialmente il nome. “Mammoth” si riferisce probabilmente al Mammoth Lakes, California, una località sciistica nelle montagne della Sierra.
