Gli utenti acquistano un nuovo iPhone ogni 2 o 3 anni

Un nuovo studio pubblicato da CIRP rivela per quanto tempo gli utenti tengono il loro iPhone prima di sostituirlo con un nuovo modello.

Nonostante Apple abbia segnato un nuovo record del prezzo di vendita medio degli iPhone vicino ai 1.000 dollari e ha registrato un trimestre record di marzo quest’anno per quanto riguarda le vendite di smartphone, il nuovo rapporto del CIRP suggerisce che la società potrebbe vedere un rallentamento della domanda per i suoi smartphone.

Dal 2019 al 2021, i clienti Apple hanno tenuto i propri telefoni sempre più a lungo, con il 34% degli intervistati che aveva un iPhone di almeno tre anni.

È interessante notare che questa tendenza è improvvisamente rallentata nel 2022. Tuttavia, gli ultimi dati di marzo di quest’anno mostrano che la maggior parte degli utenti Apple tiene il proprio iPhone per 2-3 anni o, addirittura, più.

Il CIRP ritiene che tutti gli aggiornamenti registrati nel 2022 sono stati in gran parte indotti dal COVID, poiché diversi utenti hanno risparmiato su cose come viaggi e intrattenimento, e questo gli ha permesso di acquistare i nuovi modelli.
