Chris Weeldreyer, ex-UI Design Manager di Apple, è stato assunto recentemente da Facebook. Weeldreyer, che si è unito a Facebook il 18 Giugno, lavorerà come Product Design Manager all’interno del social network.

Come detto in precedenza, Chris Weeldreyer si è trasferito nel quartier generale di Facebook a partire dal 18 Giugno, a soli 4 mesi dalla sua partenza da Apple. Ricordiamo che Weeldreyer è stato responsabile del design dei software iWeb e Numbers, dove ha anche registrato alcuni brevetti.

La notizia è stata confermata proprio da Weeldreyer, che attraverso i suoi profili su Facebook e LinkedIn, ha annunciato il cambio di “datore di lavoro”.

Facebook era da tempo alla ricerca di un Product Design Manager, come riportato anche sul Social Network all’interno della pagina dedicata alle offerte lavorative. Il candidato ideale ricercato da Facebook, guiderà un folto team di designers e, ovviamente, farà rapporto al Design Director.

Come sottolineato sul proprio profilo LinkedIn, Weeldreyer elenca le proprie conoscenze e sottolinea le sue qualifiche nel design industriale, nel design interattivo e nel design dell’interfaccia utente; ovviamente queste caratteristiche lo ripongono in cima alle persone che Facebook ricercava.
