Il Dev team rilascia redsn0w 0.9.7 beta 5 per il jailbreak untethered di iOS 4.2.1

Il Dev-Team ha da poco rilasciato una nuova versione beta di redsn0w, che giunge così alla versione 0.9.7b5. Questa versione (dedicata esclusivamente agli sviluppatori) permette di effettuare il Jailbreak untethered di iOS 4.2.1 tramite il “piano secondario” del Dev Team, che richiede gli SHSH del firmware 4.2b3 salvati.

In questa nuova beta viene risolto il problema con il bluetooth, che ritorna così a funzionare e come nella versione precedente, non è necessaria la gestione manuale usbmuxd per l’invio della ramdisk.

Come sempre sconsigliamo di eseguire la procedura agli utenti meno esperti: queste versioni di redsn0w sono dedicate esclusivamente agli sviluppatori e necessitano del firmware 4.2 b3.

Per chi volesse provare comunque la procedura, può scaricare la nuova versione da qui (solo per Mac, la versione per Windows è già pronta ma essendo troppo lenta il DevTeam ha deciso di non rilasciarla ancora).

Per il momento il requisito fondamentale per chi vorrà testare il software è quello di avere un certificato del firmware 4.2 beta 3 salvato ed un iPhone attivato naturalmente (senza utilizzare ultrasn0w). Per provare questa nuova versione, se avete già testato una delle precedenti versioni beta, dovrete ripristinare il vostro dispositivo e ri-eseguire il Jailbreak.
